Ride From Valley to Summit
Join us for a scenic ride off the beaten track as we explore the alpine valleys of Little River & The Banks Peninsula – no tourists will know about this one! We will ride a loop from valley to summit and will reap the rewards of our climb with views of beautiful peninsula lakes, vistas of the outer bays and on a clear day we can marvel at the snow peaked southern alps stretching from South Canterbury all the way to Marlborough. and wide open rolling hills and valleys below us. We will cycle past alpine chalets, with plenty of deer and birds ready to greet us along the way. This is rural riding at it’s best! This is a classic tour which requires a moderate level of fitness and an appetite for exploration!

This amazing ride starts with mixed terrain on sealed roads and then a long steady winding climb that brings us to the top as we ride from Valley floor to Summit! The higher we climb, the better the views become! Continuing along as we complete our loop we enjoy the contrasting views, the tranquility of cycling through farmland, pine and native forests breathing in fresh air while soaking up the views. There will be plenty of chances for taking some photos and we finishing with a descent on mixed roads all the way back down to the valleys and lakes.
This is a classic tour, it is our guides firm favourite.. we never tire of the views!Please note: Ebike Tours may share the roads with other users including bikes, cars, tractors and livestock & quad bikes. If you would like to join this tour. The tour is a balance of unsealed and gravel roads with some gravel descents. Participants must have off road mountain biking experience, a good level of fitness and be confident on gravel roads.
