Our popular Lava Loop is perfect for those who desire a bit of a challenge. If have conventional mountain bike experience and have a moderate to high level of fitness this trip is for you. You will be amazed as you cruise up terrain you wouldn’t dream of on a conventional bike, with our powerful pedal assist Scott Bosch systems Ebiking is making the impossible… now possible!.

This tour includes some steep ascents and descents on sealed throughout.

Warning- Electric Mountain biking is very addictive, we ride FURTHER, FASTER HIGHER without the sweat! Once is never enough!

Cruise Ship Passenger Information

If you are arriving via cruise ship into Lyttleton you can join us! You must contact us in advance to arrange a cruise ship friendly tour time and book your transport which is an additional cost.

If you are arriving into Akaroa Port via cruise ship you can walk to our office easily from the Port. It only takes 5-10 mins.

Please note: Riders would need to be under 90kgs to complete the route with the battery limitations.
